To make things a little more interesting, we’ve also launched our Raising the Bar on Retail Therapy digital campaign, inviting everyone to join in a series of challenges that increase in difficulty and rewards as you go along. People is power in this contest, as each challenge requires a certain number of participants to unlock the prizes and subsequent challenges, so rally your friends to unveil bigger and better prizes!
Kicking things off is a simple Facebook share that participants have to post on their timelines via the Raising the Bar microsite, which will earn 250 (yes, 250!) participants $20 worth of shopping vouchers each!
Join us in Raising the Bar on Retail Therapy, as we unveil bigger and better benefits, giving you, our loyal card members, exclusive privileges when you shop at more retail brands than any other card across Singapore.
For starters, card members now get to enjoy 5% rebates storewide when they shop at 14 retail brands, namely Robinsons, Marks & Spencer, John Little, Royal Sporting House, Golf House, DC, Lacoste, Nautica, Quiksilver, Roxy, SAMBA, Speedo, Sperry Top-sider and Vans. That means shopping for pretty much everything from sports goods to surf wear, swimming gear to golf apparel, and, of course, the diverse selections typical of your favourite departmental stores.
Indulge in some major retail therapy by spending more than S$5,000 at Robinsons, Marks & Spencer and John Little, and get double the rebates with 10% cash rebates during the periods of 1 January to 30 June, and 1 July to 31 December.
That’s on top of earning Robs$ even when you spend outside of the 14 retail brands, which can be used to offset your shopping bills and redeem vouchers at Robinsons, Marks & Spencer and John Little.
Once we’ve reached 250 participants, Challenge 2 will be revealed, unlocking a simple quiz on the new OCBC Robinsons Group Visa Card. Watch out for the timer though! Once the countdown runs out, you’ll have to start all the way from the beginning and answer all three questions again! Get all the answers right and stand to be among 50 participants to win $30 worth of shopping vouchers.
Challenge 3 invites participants to take a day trip with your pals to one of OCBC Robinsons Group VISA Card’s 14 retail brands across 80 stores islandwide, snap a group selfie in one of these stores, and upload it to our microsite! You can even participate on Instagram by adding the hashtag #OCBCRobsRaisingthebar to your photo, giving you the chance to be one of the top 30 contestants to win $50 worth of shopping vouchers!
We take a step back with Challenge 4 to pay tribute to families who’ve been fans of the Robinsons Group of stores for generations. Share with us a multi-generational photo of your family and a heart-warming story on how we have been a part of your family’s lives – perhaps as a stalwart in your family’s weekly shopping trips when you were younger, the ultimate go-to stop for annual festive gifts, or even an occasional shopping treat that birthed fond memories of time spent with your beloved family members. The top five stories that manage to tug at our heartstrings the most will stand to win $200 worth of shopping vouchers.
Then comes our fifth and final challenge that zooms in on retail therapy at its finest. Create a blog entry on the Raising the Bar on Retail Therapy microsite telling us what’s on your retail therapy wish list, and stand to be one of the three lucky winners to win a shopping spree worth $2000!
