Returns and Exchanges

ORDERS, COLLECTION, RETURN/REFUND/EXCHANGE POLICIES

(A) GENERAL CANCELLATION OF ORDERS:

You may cancel your order without incurring any charges at any time until ROBINSONS notify you via email that the product ordered is in transit, which includes having been shipped by the seller. Should you nevertheless elect to cancel an order after the product ordered is in transit, only the sale price of the product paid by you will be refunded in accordance with the terms set out in Section 4(B)(i) below. In the event that you were eligible for free delivery, you will be charged our prescribed flat fee applicable to a standard delivery service and such fee shall be deducted by us prior to the refund. In the event that you had paid our prescribed flat fee, such delivery fee paid by you will not be refunded under any circumstances whatsoever. Therefore, please check your order carefully before proceeding to payment.

ROBINSONS reserves the right to cancel any order at our discretion and for any reason whatsoever, including in cases of product unavailability. ROBINSONS will inform you of such cancellation via email and a full refund (including any delivery fees paid by you) will be processed by ROBINSONS. Any such refund will be made to you in accordance with the terms set out in Section 4(B)(i) below.

(B) RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS:

FOR INTERNATIONAL RETURN AND EXCHANGE DUE TO CHANGE OF MIND, FEES WILL BE SHOULDERED BY THE CUSTOMER.

(i) Return of products and refunds

ROBINSONS will, unless otherwise stated on our website specifically in respect of a product, accept (1) requests for a return and refund of Returnable Products (as defined below) for any reason (including change of mind) and (2) requests for a return (if applicable and/or required by us) and refund Defective Products within 30 days from the date of the delivery, subject to the terms set out below.

For the purposes of these Terms of Service, (1) “Returnable Product” means any regular-priced product but excludes perishable products such as food, flowers, intimate or sanitary goods, personalised items, special orders, gift vouchers, cosmetics and beauty products, perfume, jewellery, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases, and (2) “Defective Product” means any product that is in fact visually or operationally defective or not conforming to the requirements provided for under applicable consumer protection laws.

To be eligible for a return and refund, a Returnable Product or (if applicable and/or required by us) a Defective Product must be returned in accordance with ROBINSONS’ prescribed requirements, which may include returning the product in its original packaging, complete with all accessories and manuals where applicable. Products that have been laundered or altered in any way cannot be returned.

Any customer eligible for a return and/or refund (as the case may be) will be refunded in the same manner as the original mode of payment, subject to the mechanics applicable to such mode of payment. For payments made using BitPay - all refunds will be issued in the form of store credits. Any amount to be refunded will take into consideration the total discounts or other deductions given to the customer at the point of purchase.

For the avoidance of doubt, in the case of any returns of Returnable Products which are not Defective Products, delivery charges paid for an order which falls below the minimum qualifier for free delivery shall be non-refundable, and Robinsons may charge you for the delivery fees incurred for the return. If delivery has taken place, the refund will exclude delivery charges paid. Other fees that may be deducted from your refund includes re-stocking fee of 15% of the product’s original purchase price (if applicable).

 

(ii) Exchange of Defective Products

ROBINSONS will accept requests for exchange of any Defective Product within 30 days from the date of the delivery, subject to the terms set out below.

Should the relevant product be out of stock and customer is not agreeable to other alternatives offered, ROBINSONS will proceed to process a refund in accordance with the terms set out in Section 4(B)(i) above.

Where an exchange of a Defective Product is required by ROBINSONS to be returned in order to be eligible for an exchange, the Defective Product must be returned in accordance with ROBINSONS’ prescribed requirements, which may include returning the product in its original packaging, complete with all accessories and manuals where applicable. Products that have been laundered or altered in any way cannot be accepted for an exchange.

(ii) General terms applicable to returns, exchanges and refunds

The acceptance by ROBINSONS of any request for return, refund or exchange (as the case may be) shall not constitute nor be deemed to be an acknowledgment or acceptance by ROBINSONS of any breach, default or liability on the part of ROBINSONS in respect of such product being subject to a return, refund or exchange.

ROBINSONS reserves the sole discretion to reject any requests for returns, refunds or exchange that, in our reasonable determination, does not fulfil our policies above. Any other requests for returns, refunds or exchange not otherwise provided for in our policies above shall, subject to applicable law, be at ROBINSONS’ sole discretion made on a case-by-case basis.

Only one exchange is allowed per purchase. The exchange product will not be eligible for further exchange or refund unless faulty.

2. Other types of products that are non-returnable
  1. Apple products, computer software, Mobile Phones that are opened.
  2. Once installed : Video Game consoles, video games, made-to-order / custom-made items, air-conditioner, TV (once mounted on the wall).
  3. Once used: All electrical and kitchen appliances, IT, cameras, accessories, mattresses and assembled furniture.
  4. Items such as laptops, tablets, desktop computers, software, games, DVDs, CDs, recordable media and other equipment which contain a security seal that has been broken or tampered with.
  5. Consumables such as coffee capsules cannot be returned unless they are unopened and in their original packaging.
  6. Customised/made-to-order goods, special order items, bed linen, mattresses, beds, divans, assembled furniture cannot be refunded or exchanged.
  7. Gift Cards

RESTOCKING FEE

Returned products are expected to arrive in like-new condition. There will be a 15% re-stocking fee assessed on closed box returns (per unit) if you are not fully satisfied for the following products:

  1. Apple products, computer software and mobile phones
  2. Items such as laptops, tablets, desktop computers, software, games, DVDs, CDs, recordable media and other equipment which contain an untampered security seal.
  3. All electrical and kitchen appliances, and cameras.
  4. All Foreign Branded Goods.
