SHURI was the capital of the RYUKYU Kingdom, and SHURI Castle served as the residence of the king. Its earliest establishment can be traced back to the 11th century. It is a popular tourist attraction in OKINAWA that many people visit. Unfortunately, in October 2019, six buildings, including the main hall and the North and South Halls, were accidentally burned down. This was the fifth time that SHURIJO Castle had been destroyed in its history. Our third blend, the SHURI BLEND adopts a medium-to-dark roast. It has a higher mellow and lower acidity, with notes of sweetness reminiscent of dark chocolate. It is smooth and easy to drink, making it especially suitable for daily consumption. Even friends who prefer the strong "charcoal" flavor of coffee love it.
